* Note that the time last modified is GMT (UTC, Zulu time) and will display differently on your machine depending on your time zone settings. However, the time should show as within +/- 12 hours of the GMT time, and the minutes and seconds should match. If you are in an odd timezone like India, you will need to adjust by the appropriate number of minutes.

Version number convention:We use the third digit of the file version for our own installation purposes. So, for example, file version 3.2.9.0 would be API Version 3.2.0.
Right-click on the DLL file in Windows Explorer and select Properties.
Use the SHA1_FileHexHash function in CryptoSys API
or use the sha1sum.exe command-line program (see below)

Alternatively, zip the file with WinZip(R), open the WinZip file, right-click on the DLL file inside WinZip, select File Properties and the CRC-32 checksum is the CRC value.
Download this set of three freeware command-line utilities that generate or check an MD5 or SHA-1 hash digest or a CRC-32 checksum of a list of files: digsum.zip (71 kB). Note that the default mode is binary.
